Well, it’s my birthday. 25 years old. A quarter century. Damn. I feel old. I don’t know what I’m going to do today, partly because I wrote this last week. I would be at a LAN in Boston, but Duke is an idiot and didn’t tell me about it until last week. Would have been nice to know since I took off work. I have off from the morning of the 17th to the night of the 23rd, so that is nice.

The list of Counter-Strike Champions dates back to 2000, when the CPL officially began hosting team-based tournaments with Counter-Strike.
Read more »For the third season in a row, sR.css team begins the CAL season 2-0 and hopes to make it three straight seasons with a 3-0 start on de_inferno next week. This is the third season sR.css has been together and after a disappointing ending to season 5 as well as an extremely busy year for people in college, work and other life events, we realized most of us are not going to be around as to scrim and plan.
Read more »It’s been a while since I’ve done a Source 101, and I have a couple ideas for the next one. In the mean time though, I’m going to go over scripting for the Source Engine. I’ll be going over buy scripting and a few other things that will make your gaming easier. What I won’t be doing is showing you how to script stupid things like single/burst/auto firing or quick switching.
Read more »Lost Temple is a well-known custom map created by Magikus and StarD00d at d00ds.com. Lost Temple is overall a medium range map, although there are plenty of areas for brutal close quarter fights, combined with longer stretches ideal for AWP work.
The premise for this map is an ancient and lost temple that has been found. Archeologists discovered a great secret and are about to put the pieces together. The Terrorists need to destroy one of the artifact puzzles the archeologists have already secured while the Counter-Terrorists must prevent terrorists from bombing the secured artifacts.
