Valve Announces Left 4 Dead 2

Valve announced today at E3 that Left 4 Dead 2 would be released this fall. Coming to PC and Xbox 360 L4D2 will feature new weapons including melee weapons such as a chainsaw, axe, baseball bat, and frying pan, 5 new campaigns, a new game mode, 4 new Survivors and a new Special Infected, along with updates to the AI Director and more.

Football Manager Live Now On Steam

Football Manager Live is now out on Steam for just $21.99 for a 4 month subscription. I picked it up when it was released and it has been fun so far. I haven’t played any games yet, just learning new skills so I can make my team better. The season starts up tomorrow, should be fun. You can buy it from the FM Live Steam page.

TF2 Sniper Update – The Huntsman

The first details of the TF2 Sniper update are out and it’s the replacement weapon for the Sniper Rifle, a bow and arrow called the Huntsman. It is a mid-range weapon that insta-crits on headshots.

This update might actually get me playing TF2 again. I haven’t played it in a while because it lost it’s fun after some of the updates, but I will have to try it out.

CEVO Announces Left 4 Dead Survival Tourney

CEVO has just announced their free Left 4 Dead tournament which will start Monday May 18th. The Survival Tourney will be a 128 team, double elimination tournament with matches twice a week on Monday and Thursday.

Every competitive L4D player will be looking forward to this since CAL died. Since CAL stopped after Week 1 there has only been the Infected Cup, TWL, and GameBattles, so CEVO picking up L4D should give the game a boost, along with the upcoming update with Death Toll and Dead Air.

Another great idea from Valve. I always hate having to update all my settings when I use a different computer, especially if I don’t have a backup config to copy over.
