Some great news I saw from The Android Site – The official US version of the Android 1.5 “Cupcake” update is out. Someone on the xda-developers developers found it and now I don’t have to wait until T-Mobile pushes the update out over the air.

T-Mobile’s much awaited 1.5/Cupcake update for Google’s Android OS might have been let out, and hopefully it is true. I have been waiting for 1.5 for a while and I’m hoping I am one of the lucky people who get it sooner rather than later.
I wish T-Mobile would have it uploaded somewhere so the people who want it right away can go download and update themselves instead of waiting for the over-the-air update. Here’s hoping that I get the update on the 18th. I’ll probably spend the whole day hitting “Check for system update”. Read more for the possible release schedule.
